2.1 Water button of flexible endoscope

The water air button of the flexible endoscope is a switch button that controls water and air. Install the button on the mirror and block the small hole at the top of the button with your hand to send air. The air pressure comes from the compressed air pump of the cold light source; and pressing the button down by hand is to send water, and the water comes from the distilled water on the endoscope water bottle. The main role of water and air delivery is to clean the lens surface at the apex.

2.2 Suction button of flexible endoscope

The flexible endoscope is a switch button that controls the attraction. The attraction connecting tube of the attraction pump is connected to the attraction interface of the light guide part of the mirror. The biopsy port is covered with a biopsy cap to prevent air leakage. The mirror is plugged in with the attraction button, the power supply of the attraction pump is turned on, and the attraction button can be attracted by pressing the attraction button with your finger. The waste liquid is discharged from the pliers at the tip of the mirror through the pliers tube and the attraction tube into the storage bottle of the attraction pump.

2.3 Knob of flexible endoscope

There are two knobs for gastroenteroscopy. The large knob is responsible for controlling the upper and lower angles, and the small knob is responsible for controlling the left and right angles. The large and small knobs have a lock, which is marked by the English letter F. When adjusted to a certain angle, the lock is placed on the counterclockwise board. , The angle can be locked in this position, which is convenient for doctors to diagnose and treat this area.

2.4 Operating handle of flexible endoscope

The operating handle of the flexible endoscope is the part that the doctor usually grasps when operating the mirror. The handle is marked with the model of the mirror, such as GIF-Q260, and there is also a color mark indicating the size of the inner diameter of the pliers tube. For example, yellow means that the biopsy channel is 2.8mm.

2.5 S cover of flexible endoscope

The S cover of the flexible endoscope is a cover on the back of the operating unit. Because the covers are irregular in shape, they are called S covers. The brand, model or serial number will be printed on the lid. As mentioned yesterday, the color labels of the handles are usually white: 1.2mm; blue: 2 or 2.2mm; green: 2.6mm; yellow: 2.8 or 3.2mm; orange: 3.7 or 4.2 mm biopsy channel.

2.6 Traction wire for flexible endoscope

There are three kinds of traction wires for flexible endoscopes. Olympus uses chains. This is its patent and cannot be used by other brands. Fuji can use bone wheel steel wire, Pentax uses wire wheel. Bone wheel steel wire and reel are easy to break, especially colonoscopies, so it is common for these two brands to repair the parts.

2.7 Steel wire fixing parts for flexible endoscopes

This part is welded to the end of the steel wire and is connected to the parts of the traction steel wire such as chains, wire wheels, etc., which play a role in pulling the steel wire. If the mirror leaks or the welding is not strong, the steel wire fixing parts can easily be desoldered and cause no angle, which is a common fault.

2.8 Spiral tube fixing parts for flexible endoscopes

The spiral tube fixing parts of the flexible endoscope are welded to the end of the spiral tube and stuck in the support frame of the operating unit. There are four fixing parts in total. When adjusting the angle, the support effect of straightening the tube is inserted. If the fixture is desoldered, the insertion tube cannot be straightened when the angle is adjusted.

2.9 Open valve for biopsy channel

The opening valve of the biopsy channel is the connecting metal tube between the biopsy channel and the suction tube, which is the inlet of the biopsy. It is usually printed with the inner diameter of the biopsy channel, as shown in the figure 2.8k, indicating that this biopsy channel is 2.8mm.

2.10 Suction socket for flexible endoscope

The suction seat of the flexible endoscope is the socket of the suction button, and it is also the inlet of the biopsy channel and the suction tube that is scrubbed and scrubbed during cleaning and disinfection. Therefore, the suction seat is easily caused by friction, and it is weak and leaking when it is attracted.

2.11 Angle adjustment device for flexible endoscope

This component is composed of a screw rod and a skateboard. The front end of the skateboard is stuck with the head of the chain. When the screw rod is adjusted counterclockwise, the angle becomes larger and vice versa becomes smaller, which realizes the function of adjusting the angle.

The angle adjustment device of Pentax endoscope uses a slider to define the angle. After loosening the two screws, push the slider to the left to make the angle smaller; push to the right to make the angle larger. After adjusting the angle, tighten the screws. This kind of device has poor fine-tuning.

The angle adjustment device of Fuji endoscope uses the principle of a pull rod to adjust the angle. Loosen the three screws, lengthen the tie rod and the angle becomes smaller; push the tie rod forward and the angle becomes larger, and tighten the screws after adjusting.

2.12 Water and air socket for flexible endoscope

This component is a connecting seat for placing water and air buttons. There are four tubes, each with a water tube and a air inlet, a water tube and a air outlet. The two spiral plates on the right protect the inlet tube, the upper one is the air tube, and the lower one is the water tube; the two short tubes on the left are the outlet tube, the long one is the air tube and the short one is the water tube.
